The Continuing Evolution of Lightspress

This week marks a pivotal moment for Lightspress as I announce a temporary hiatus for the Foragers Guild product line. After tomorrow’s final Faction releases, I’ll be taking a break. In the coming weeks, DoubleZero will follow suit, after the Professions series is complete, allowing me to dedicate my focus to new projects, both large and small.

This hiatus serves as an opportunity for introspection and improvement. I am embarking on a journey of soft rebranding and better marketing, addressing long-overdue issues behind the scenes, and making necessary adjustments to refine our offerings.

Two things are central to this period of transition. The first is the further evolution of the Lightspress logo, hopefully for the final time. Second, I have thoroughly reassessed my design principles and critically evaluated my processes to align with my overarching goals and values.

Throughout the remainder of this week and into the next, this blog will serve as a platform to delve into the rationale behind these changes. I will provide insights into the motivations driving these decisions and offer transparency into the direction I am taking.

As I embark on this realignment, I am grateful for the continued support of our loyal customers and partners. Together, we are laying the foundation for a stronger, more resilient Lightspress.
