FAQ: Why don’t you do interviews?

Since this has been coming up a lot lately:

My choice to limit my online presence is intentional. I’d rather pour my energy into creating high-quality content and fostering meaningful connections with my community through the newsletter and, most importantly, the books themselves. Everything I need to say is already in those pages, including the FAQ in the Lightspress Handbook.

It’s not about me, and honestly, it’s not even about the work. It’s about how you use my toolkits, sourcebooks, and games around the table. That’s where the magic happens—your stories, your creativity, your interpretations. I’m here to give you the tools. You decide what to build.

That said, I’m also an extreme introvert with anxiety and ongoing health issues. Interacting with people—whether online or in person—takes a lot more out of me than I can afford to give. I truly appreciate anyone who thinks of me and offers these opportunities, and it genuinely means a lot. But as a matter of practicality, ideology, and self-preservation, I just can’t do it. Thank you for understanding, and I’m sorry.
