Nothing Left to Add

Everything that can be said about D&D has already been said.

The next series of articles for Story At The Table will center on the idea that D&D is complete, and that everything going forward is nothing but a rehash of a rehash of a rehash. It’s been this way for a long time now. That doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy it, that it’s no longer relevant, or any of the other bad-faith hogwash that will be aimed at me over these articles. It means that, as a designer, it’s time to move on and look at new ways to innovate the medium rather than continuing to do the same thing, expecting a different outcome.

The series starts next week. Subscribe for free at our Patreon or Substack to get new articles delivered to your inbox.
