In this essay, I want to address a subject of significance within fantasy roleplaying: the exploration of non-humanoid perspectives. In our tradition of storytelling, it's common to center our adventures around humans and humanoids — elves, dwarves, orcs, and so on — while other types of sentient beings find themselves relegated to the sidelines.
I submit that there is value in expanding our horizons to encompass the viewpoints of creatures beyond the familiar archetypes. This project isn't merely a pursuit of novelty but rather a deliberate effort to enrich our storytelling and elevate our roleplaying experiences.
