The revolution already happened, and it failed. Those who helped to bring it about are now scattered, watched, or dead; those who stayed have learned how to live under an oppressive regime. Now something is starting again, but there’s no agreement on what it is, or what it might become.
Players enter a situation shaped by soured memories, physical distance, and a pressure that never settles down. The central conflict revolves around surviving and resisting a regime that crushed their revolution: every protest, secret meeting, or choice, at home or in exile, brings risk of exposure. As incomplete information and shifting loyalties shape events, characters must choose: fight to regain lost freedom, adapt to the regime’s new order, or abandon the struggle. Their choices define both their conflict with the regime and with themselves.
